Pet Teeth Cleaning at Norridge Vet

Regular teeth cleanings and exams are just as important for pets as they are for people. Pets can’t tell us when they have a toothache or other dental issue, so it’s up to us to watch for signs of problems.

We recommend annual exams and cleanings of your pet’s teeth. During the exam, we check for teeth that are missing, loose, cracked, or otherwise damaged. We also check the gum line for swelling, redness, or lack of color that may indicate a problem.

Dental cleanings are essential for your dog or cat because dental disease can lead to infection in the bloodstream and cause serious health issues.
